Recently, some Twitter owners found that Obsidian’s new work Oath no longer forces the use of “gender pronouns”, and now players can choose whether to enable this option in the settings.
It is worth mentioning that Oath artistic director Matt Hansen has publicly ridiculed people who resist the use of gender pronouns, including anti-DEI pioneer Musk. Matt added,”I just wanted to provoke him with my game, but it worked.” Wait till you see the default settings, you pathetic little bastard.”
Ironically, Matt’s “tough” attitude fell apart with the release of the Early Access version of Oath, and players could easily disable the pronoun system he pushed. Matt himself, on the other hand, has disappeared from the Internet for the past two months and has not made any further comments.
